I have been drawn to many great teachers
Their words have inspired me
Some even seem to know my mind
When words of exact accuracy
Have been the answers I have been seeking
The potency of their words
living on within me
How can I express my gratitude towards such great minds?
How can I express my gratitude when they don't even know of my existence?
What about those not even living in my time?
The answer is evident everywhere
If I bother to seek
The answer is more evident within me
If I bother to look within
This explains why
Out of the blue,
Words of great wisdom come to my mind
A voice from within
Speaks
Like a teacher asleep within me
A voice
That has finally awoken in me
The fusing of the minds of the many teachers who have taught me
Becomes alive in me
The speaking of words of wisdom by One
Is the speaking of words of wisdom by all great Teachers
I express my gratitude to you, my Teachers
By passing on your words of wisdom to others
More importantly
By nurturing the inner teacher in me
I remind myself of their words of wisdom
I can
live
them.
