Attacks
One after another
Showing no sign of ending
What has become of this world?
Anger, hatred and revenge
Resurfacing again and again
Suppressed in one part of the world
Only to resurface
Where we least expect it
This cycle of revenge goes on and on
Lots of innocent human lives
Are paying the proce if revenge!
What causes these cycles of violence?
Is peace achievable?
We can't control others' thoughts
We can't control others' actions
The only thing we can do
Is to eradicate thoughts of
anger, hatred and retaliation within ourselves
Replacing them with thoughts of non-violence
We must make sure that in the face of chaos and confusion
We do not react hastily with attach for attack
Planting the seeds for future wars
Creating endless cycles of
Violence
and
suffering!
Let us all end these tragic cycles of violence
Let us create peace within our minds
By creating peace within us
