Seeking
I stand in front of the altar
Facing the Buddha
On the eighth day, fourth month of the Lunar calendar
The birth day of the Lord Buddha
Thoughts rushing through my mind
I remembered this day
I journeyed back over many years
I was seeking for help and direction
From the Compassionate Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva
I was seeking
For a way
That leads to enlightenment in this lifetime
I was seeking for guidance from an enlightened Teacher
Events just fell into place
I have since discovered
The Compassionate ones
Have never deserted me
The Great Teachers
Have found ways to help me
At the unexpected moment
In the unexpected way
Faith in myself
Faith in ourselves
Faith in the compassion of the Enlightened Ones
Is the prime factor
Be brave!
Seek your life's Path!
You will hear the answer
When the time is right
