I was looking through my family album
I was looking at mum, dad, brothers and sisters
There are so many of us
There were so many sets of relationships formed
There were so many types of relationships formed
There were sweet, sour and bitter times
That's when family values were informed
That's when family relationships were formed
That's when the force of the web was felt
I needed to break away from the web
I needed my own space and time
My spirit needed to be free
So I left my town
I am now in another space and time
Strangely, I have spun another web
Husband, son, daughter and me
We have formed another web - our web
Husband's family already has many webs
They try to come close
They are reaching out to us
I am now in danger of being entangled within many more webs
I take a look at the social groups existing around me
They all represent similar structures
There seem to exist webs of different shapes and sizes
Which seem to control the individuals
Master, Master,
How can I untangle myself?
I am looking for freedom
I am not looking for entanglements
My spirit desperately needs to be free
Soul liberation,
Is the only relationship I seek
Relationship with my true nature
Relationship with others true nature
This is the permanence I need
This is the permanence I seek
My dear disciple,
We are together due to karmic forces
We have karmic scores to settle
All those forces determine our relationships together
All those relationships are forever changing
Nothing stays permanent
The web is in a state of constant change
It is controlled by the minds of all the individuals
You have also contributed to the formation of the web
The only way to be free is to practice purity of mind
When your mind is pure, no external forces can bind you
Let your mind be still
Serenity will be with you
Let your heart be filled with understanding and compassion
Serenity will be with you
Let your mind focus on Amitabha
